So if there's one word I'd use to describe the past week or so, it would have to be FABULOUS.

Within this post you're going to get a TV show review, a book review, a musical review, AND a concert review, mainly because these were the four monumental events contributing to my amazing week. So let's do this, shall we?

1) Glee.

So picture this. It's a Tuesday afternoon. I'm chilling in my room, jamming to The Beatles, hurrying to finish up some homework so I can catch the newest Glee episode. And what do I find out? That I have a confirmation meeting.

While. Glee. is. on.

I obviously freak out. But thankfully, God gave us DVR, so I recorded it, anxiously awaiting the time when I'd be able to watch it.

The confirmation meeting was kind of painful...not gonna lie. I really don't mind going to church, but three straight hours of it (especially when there's a Glee episode to watch) is not fun. I don't think I can explain how fast I ran into my house to watch this show. I almost accidentally pummeled my brother to the ground, trying to turn it on.

Anyhoo, I jump into pajamas and start watching this episode. I was hoping the show would redeem itself from the Britney episode (which I really didn't like).

And what did I get?

Religion. The entire thing was based on religion. I'm not saying that's a terrible thing...but right after you come back from three hours of religion, the last thing you want is more. I was a little disappointed.

That is, until I heard the songs.

This was one of the greatest episodes of Glee EVER, when it comes to the music. I was so sick of mindless pop songs and rapping. I wanted Glee to deliver the usual show stopping numbers...and jeez louise, did they deliver! Although Rachel is annoying, and her solo was totally random in the story, her rendition of "Papa Can You Hear Me" was absolutely brilliant.  Mercede's  "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was stunning. And lastly, the greatest song in the entire episode, and definitely the best performance this season so far, was Kurt's heartbreaking cover of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand." I almost cried through the entire thing.

So I must say...the first thing that made my week, was the episode of Glee!

2) My Immortal

You might be wondering what My Immortal is.

Well, it's basically the worst freaking Harry Potter fanfiction in the history of the world.

And oddly enough, the most entertaining.

If you've ever considered that Snape's name could be "Snoop" or that Dumbledore might walk in on people having sex in the Forbidden Forest, and shout "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING MOTHERFUCKERS" because he had a headache...you'll certainly want to read this. It had me literally rolling on the floor laughing.

3) A Very Potter Sequel

So there's a lot of things I could have done with my day off. I could have gone outside, for example. Or gone to the mall. Or even the movies.

But nahh. Instead, I stayed up all night to watch A Very Potter Sequel, upon the request of my obsessive friends.

IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME.

Lauren Lopez is simply a genius. Draco is my favorite character...because he is adorable and horrible all at the same time. All the other characters were just as amazing. This is a must-see, and I was cracking up the entire time. I could barely even breathe.

4) The Triple Rainbow Awesome Tour!

And now for the greatest highlight of the week! And possibly my entire life! THE TRIPLE RAINBOW AWESOME TOUR.

In case you're not familiar with what this is, it's a tour featuring tons of amazing musicians who got famous through YouTube.

It includes:
ALL CAPS
Skyway Flyer [Jason Munday]
Alex Carpenter
ANNND my favorite...
Mike Lombardo

I saw them in Hamden, Connecticut at The Space and it was the most incredible experience ever. I got to meet all of them, talk to them, find out more about their music, and take pictures with them. They all autographed my official Triple Rainbow Awesome Tour poster. I also got an epic ALL CAPS t-shirt, which you can view to the right!

I really suggest going to this! They have a lot more stops on their tour, so CHECK IT OUT!

Anyway, that's all the awesome we have for today. Hopefully I'll get around to posting some more stuff soon!

  1. OMG the first thing we do when we get on the bus is get out our phones and we all listen to, what is it, unplugged? or unplug me? anyways, after we listen to it we spend the rest of the bus ride singing it obnoxiously and converting other people the unplugged lovers, because it gets stuck in your head so much :P
